Hoping to bring good foodie fortune to customers this Lunar New Year, Deliveroo is launching a nationwide prize giveaway to help customers across the UK ring in the Year of the Tiger.

Hoping to bring good foodie fortune to customers this Lunar New Year, Deliveroo is launching a nationwide prize giveaway to help customers across the UK ring in the Year of the Tiger.
Deliveroo customers who place an order at any of the 25 selected Chinese restaurants on Deliveroo could win one of five giant golden ornamental fortune cookies each loaded with a whopping £1,000 worth of Deliveroo credit, as well as many other smaller credit prizes, so customers can start the Lunar New Year feeling luckier than ever.
All customers have to do is place an order at one of the 25 selected restaurants between Tuesday 1st and Monday 7th February to automatically be in with a chance of winning one of the following prizes:
It doesn’t stop there - over 500 Chinese restaurants across the UK are also slicing prices, offering meal deals and free items as part of Deliveroo’s delicious deals this Chinese New Year. Customer’s can search ‘Chinese New Year' in the app to find out the best CNY offers from their favourite local restaurants.
With over 5000 Chinese restaurants on the platform, the cuisine is a definite go-to for Deliveroo customers all year round, and Deliveroo data revealed the most ordered dishes are crispy aromatic duck, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken - and the top sides are spring rolls, dumplings, crispy calamari and crispy Seaweed. The cuisine has also been searched for over 2 million times in the past year.
Sheng Goh, Head of Chinese Category at Deliveroo said: “We wanted to give our customers some extra good fortune on this special occasion, so we’ve hidden prizes of up to £1,000 Deliveroo credit in orders across the UK this LNY. We hope this small gesture from us will bring some added excitement to customers celebrating the Year of the Tiger at home while ordering mouth-watering meals straight to their door. If you’re feeling lucky, order this week and keep an eye out for a golden cookie in your takeout - Kung hei fat choi!”
Customers seeking good fortune and a delicious meal should place an order at one of the following 25 participating restaurants to be in with a chance of winning a prize:
New-to-Deliveroo customers can get £10 off their first delivery with a minimum spend of £15 by using the code FOODNOW10 between 17th January - 13th March 2022.
