Fun fact about Dishoom
While your tastebuds tingle over the thought of a Chicken Ruby Lunch Pot, we have a fun fact for you which will make you say ‘oh really?’.
How is a Dishoom created? Well for those who don’t know, it all starts with a story as they imagine a fictional owner of the cafés and write a founding myth around this - who would’ve guessed? Read more here.
Stand-out menu item
Maybe it’s the Jackfruit Biryani? Or the mutton pepper fry? Well without further ado, we’ve been informed that Dishoom’s personal stand-out menu item is their House Black Daal, which is their signature take on the humble Daal Makhani. From Bombay with love, let’s make lunches fun again.

Get a slice of the action during lunch as Pizza Pilgrims are delivering all of your Italian-inspired favourites directly to your desk. A pizza for one or for your team? Don’t worry there’s a selection of pizza, sides and drinks for all dietary requirements.
Fun-fact about Pizza Pilgrims
I Well as far as inspiring stories go, this is definitely right up there. Pizza Pilgrims founders Thom and James Elliot quit their jobs back in 2009 to embark on their Pizza Pilgrims journey with a Piaggio Ape - yes it’s true!
After travelling around Italy for six weeks, meeting everyone they needed to meet and eating everything they needed to eat, they brought the Piaggio Ape back to London to trade on the iconic Berwick street market. As far as risk-takers go, we’d say this definitely paid off.
Stand-out menu item
With national pizza day on the 9th February, we’re sure you’ll be taking Pizza Pilgrims' advice when it comes to their stand-out menu item, especially during the lunch hour. Well, keep this secret as a knead-to-know before 12pm, as their Double Pepperoni and Spicy Honey pizza is to die for.
Changing the way you think about eating healthily, we’d like to introduce you to The Salad Project and their wide range of options for you at lunch! Lettuce celebrate variety at lunch as you can get to the root of your stomach rumbles with their kung fu tofu, miso salmon and thai me up (not literally) salad bowl - mouth is watering, hold on.
Fun-fact about The Salad Bar
There has been a few guesses about what The Salad Project’s fun fact will be but we will say their answer is definitely one that wasn’t on our list. Well, this is as rogue as it gets… did you know The Salad Project used to be called Project S? Don’t worry we prefer the current name, a great change if we do say so ourselves.
Stand-out menu item
Scouring through their menu I can name at least five stand-out items but that’s being greedy! Well here we go, The Salad Project’s stand-out menu item is The G.O.A.T - because it's in the name.
What’s in The G.O.A.T? We’re glad you asked, this lunchtime favourite combines rocket, roasted sweet potatoes, caramelised red onions, cherry tomatoes, honey soy chicken, goat's cheese, maple walnuts and green goddess dressing - YUM YUM YUM!
