Deliveroo for Work presents: People Fest at Monzo
Hybrid working is the new normal and has been praised for how inclusive and flexible it makes the workplace. However, some moments require face to face working, and Monzo recognises this. They see the value in creating memorable in-person moments in order to unite teams working across the whole of the UK.
We helped Monzo facilitate their first in-person event for their people team, to bring them together over delicious food and excellent entertainment.

Monzo, one of the UK’s leading online challenger banks, approached us to help them organise a summer event for their People Team at their London HQ. Getting their team together for an in person day of collaboration was really important to them, after two years of disruption due to Covid. People Fest, hosted by Monzo, allowed all members of their people team to get together and enjoy an evening of food, drinks and entertainment.
Client goal
With the significant easing of restrictions post Covid in the UK, Monzo’s Executive Assistant, Fran Phillips, looked to host an engaging, memorable and inclusive all day event to break down silos and get teams integrating in a fun setting. As we know from our Post-Pandemic Work Report, more of our clients are adopting a hybrid working model, so it was important to Monzo that they continue to promote inclusivity.
How we helped
Deliveroo for Work, along with Monzo’s Executive Assistant, Fran Phillips, put together a bespoke activity plan as well as delicious food and drink options, to ensure their People Fest was a success. As a one-stop-shop for all corporate events, we were able to offer Monzo a wide-range of options which matched their requirements, taking into account all dietary needs and was on budget.
Adding that WOW-factor to the event
With everyone enjoying each other's company along with the delicious selection of food and drink, it was now time to focus on the entertainment for the evening.
Quingo! Yes you heard correctly, for those who can’t decide on doing a quiz or bingo, this fun packed activity had everyone involved with lots of laughter throughout, and some amazing prizes for the winners.
