Vibrantly orange Falanghina by the litre from Valentina Passalacqua in Puglia, Italy. Tastes as good as it looks, with fresh aromas of tangerine peel, juicy peaches, accented by hints of spring blossom and herbal spice. On the palate, its fresh and sapid with great tension between fruit and acidity. This wine comes unfiltered and with minuscule additions of sulphur before bottling. Light orange blend of Campania varieties Fiano and Falanghina with tangy tropical fruits, hints of lifted honeysuckle and fresh ocean breeze. A fresh, very dry white; cloudy like fresh apple juice with bubbles dancing through it. It’s floral and zippy, but grounded in a yeasty warmth. Unfiltered, this drinks as an untouched taste of Treviso, in which Albino Arma ni’s estate has been cared for since the 1600s. Fresh and delightful Catarratto from Western Sicily. One of our favourite quaffers due to its drinkability, complexity and versatility. Aromas of pink grapefruit and spiced orchard fruit mingles with slate minerals on the palate, all carried by a zingy acidity that helps the fruit shine. After resting in inert vats for 6 months, the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered giving it a slightly cloudy appearance.
