  • Valentina Passalacqua, Calcarius Orange, 2021 (1 Litre)

Vibrantly orange Falanghina by the litre from Valentina Passalacqua in Puglia, Italy. Tastes as good as it looks, with fresh aromas of tangerine peel, juicy peaches, accented by hints of spring blossom and herbal spice. On the palate, its fresh and sapid with great tension between fruit and acidity. This wine comes unfiltered and with minuscule additions of sulphur before bottling. • Ciello, Baglio Antico Bianco, 2021

It is no coincidence this particular expression of natural Catarratto from Sicily has been hailed ‘the perfect segway bottle into orange wine’ by natural wine aficionados alike. Grapes were macerated on skins for 3 days followed by fermentation in stainless steel, yielding a medium-bodied wine with generous aromas of sun kissed stone fruits, spiced nashi pear, citrus peel and with gentle tannins and brisk acidity to boot.

Red Wine

Our Delicious Selection of Natural Red Wines

  • Gran Cerdo, Tempranillo, 2021

Plush and juicy like your standard Tempranillo but so, so much more. With Golanzo being firmly anti-oak barrel when it comes to ageing (too expensive, fair play) there is no overwhelming woodiness to give you a headache. Instead, deep cherry and palma violet notes are lifted by a clean minerality, thanks to the granite soils the grapes flourish in. If you think you don’t like red wine, try this.

  • Estezargues, Les Oliviers, 2020

Organic Southern Rhone blend from the pioneering Les Vignerons d’Estezargues co-operative near Avignon. Ripe, full-bodied red with staple Cote du Rhone aromas of lush red and dark fruits, peppery spice, wild herbs and carried by smooth tannins and lifted freshness from the Syrah. Spontaneously fermented and bottled unfiltered, this is the kind of moreish juice we can’t help ourselves reaching for over and over again at supper!

Sparkling Wine

Our Delicious Selection of Natural Sparkling Wines

  • Casa Belfi, Bianco Bio Frizzante, NV

A fresh, very dry white; cloudy like fresh apple juice with bubbles dancing through it. It’s floral and zippy, but grounded in a yeasty warmth. Unfiltered, this drinks as an untouched taste of Treviso, in which Albino Arma ni’s estate has been cared for since the 1600s. Great with white meat and fish, but we recommend crisps and a free afternoon.

  • Ciello, Bianco Catarratto, 2021

Fresh and delightful Catarratto from Western Sicily. One of our favourite quaffers due to its drinkability, complexity and versatility. Aromas of pink grapefruit and spiced orchard fruit mingles with slate minerals on the palate, all carried by a zingy acidity that helps the fruit shine. After resting in inert vats for 6 months, the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered giving it a slightly cloudy appearance. An excellent value bottle to keep chilled on the go, no matter the occasion !
