Molinico Loco - Monastrell2019 was hot and dry, in contrast to the previous year, with fewsignificant weather events causing concern. Some wet andwindy conditions during flowering kept yields naturally to a modestlevel, followed by an early summer heatwave. Much welcomedSeptember rain proved beneficial as harvest approached,allowing steady vine development. Molinico Loco - MacabeoCertified organic from the 2019 vintage, it displays succulent ripe black fruit, notes of sweet spice and liquorice and supple ripe tannins. The ‘Colección’, made from 70% old-vine Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, shows more red cherry and dried fruit character, with hints of smokiness and chocolate.
