Tandoori & tikka dishes are not curries, they are marinated. Skewered & cooked in a clay oven which is fired with charcoal, served with salad & mint sauce.
The following dishes are cooked with basmati rice, spices & herbs. Served with a separate vegetable curry.
Balti dishes are cooked in a balti pan with main ingredients stir fried first before exotic spices are added in a thick sauce with a slightly tangy taste.
