Established in 1862 in East London, F. Cooke remains the oldest serving eel and pie house family. After many years of dominating the pie and mash sceen in East London, Cookes have come to Essex for the very first time and 5th generation Robert Cooke has opened the doors locally in Chelmsford, serving the same recipe since 1862.
