Herkenrode Vesper is one of only 23 official Belgian abbey beers and the winner of the Silver Medal at the 2018 Australian International Beer Awards. Vesper was created by Cistercian nuns at the Herkenrode monastery, which was founded in 1182. It’s a true and tough Belgian triple, With a 9% abv, a nice bitterness and a lightly cognac aftertaste. Winner of the Gold Medal at the 2018 World Beer Awards, Kriekenbier Wheat is a traditional Belgian cherry beer brewed since 1977 at our craft brewery in Opitter, Belgium. It combines a hint of cherry with our refined Limburgse Witte wheat beer. The cherry juice we use is from cherries grown in Haspengouw, Europe’s premier fruit-growing region. The cherries go directly from the field into our brewing kettle. There is no other beer quite like Kriekenbier Wheat.
