About Tinworks Brewery - Llanelli
Known as “Tinopolis” Llanelli was once filled with smoke stacks from the many tinplate works belching out smoke into the atmosphere. Our aim at TinWorks is to fill the atmosphere again, not with thick black smoke, but with a haze packed aroma of our unique blend of hops and malts. We feel that Llanelli’s beer scene needs to be brought up to the 21st century. Taking inspiration from the craft breweries from across the pond, we aim to forge American style beers with a Welsh twist.

Our Beers

Old Castle Pale Ale 4.6% Abv
A simple malt bill combines with selected hops that gives it a piney bitterness followed by a hit of grapefruit and citrus fruits.

Ashburnham Porter 5% Abv
The dark malts bring a complex and textured feel to the porter. lightly hopped, we leave the malts do the work. think dark chocolate, roasted coffee and black treacle.

Dafen Ipa 6.3% Abv
The richness from the caramel malts balances out the big punch from the hops. a big whiff of the tropics is accompanied by crisp citrus and pine flavours while a rugged bitterness follows with every sip.

Kidwelly Pilsner 5.2% Abv
Our pilsner is our best seller and is a firm fan favourite. crisp, golden and incredibly drinkable, our pilsner has a delicate and complex malt flavour and spicy floral hop character.

Marshfield Red 4.6% Abv
Marshfield red is a complex hoppy red ale the ruby red colour comes from the caramel malt. bitterness, with a floral, citrus and fresh crushed gooseberry bursting from the glass.

Morlais Session Lager 4% Abv
Morlais session lager is crisp and full flavoured larger with subtle malty notes and fresh hop aromas with hints of lemon peel and grapefruit.

Cwrw Grav 3.9% Abv
Cwrw grav is our take on a traditional welsh bitter this beer is all about the malt. we use a traditional malt base to bring sweetness and a dark amber colour we wanted to add a modern twist and the best way is through the hops. cascade, amarillo and simcoe bring a nice fruity lightness to the sweet malt base base. cwrw grav is 3.9% abv, a nod to the famous llanelli win against the all blacks.
