Hyderabadi biryani was bought to hyderabad by persian soldiers in 1300 ad. My great great grandfather was a soldier in the deccan kingdom of South India where he was served this dish. He fell in love with this dish and introduced this recipie to our family. This very recipe and traditional cooking method, which is nearly 700 years old, is what we use for our biryani's at homely food.
