A perfectly balanced dish with firm bhindi and softened onions in a tomato based sauce, with dried mango, coriander seeds and cumin to provide a mild but flavoursome dish. We use a secret and modern cooking method to ensure no unplesant textures in the bhindi, so apart from at Shaakahari you wont be able to get this quality of bhindi anywhere else. Panchmel in Hindi means “mixture of five”, this Daal is of a Northern Indian, specifically Rajasthani origin containing the 5 lentils found in Northern India. Rich, creamy, flavourful urud lentils with a flavour that a description would not do justice. Taking just over a year to perfect and inspiration taken from Nawab Sahed, where arguably the worlds best daal makhani is made. Our final “must try” dish on this menu. (Recommended with Basmati Rice)£5.95
