The Bento is a Japanese iteration of a single portion takeout or home packed meal. The main attraction of Bento is simplicity and ease of different food combinations. It comes with rice, 2 shrimp tempura, fried chicken, edamame with your choice of fish.

We have combined some of the most popular sushi into platters. The platters range from 21 pieces to 58 pieces.

Tetakai is grade A fish seared on the outside with teriyaki, peri peri and sesame seeds. Each portion comes with 4 pieces. If you’d prefer a larger mix we can offer a sashimi platter with different fish.

The Hosomaki is a traditional roll filled with one ingredient inside that comes with Noori. In Japanese hoso means thin and maki means roll so this is literally a thin roll. Served and cut into 6 pieces.

The futomaki is a bigger roll filled with various ingredients and cut into 4 pieces. The translation literally means fat rolled sushi. It comes with 5 ingredients inside, with a choice of any one fish or veg.

The translation literally means inside out roll. This comes with many different ingredients and is served in 8 pieces.

‘Te’ means hand in Japanese. This hand rolled maki comes in a cone shape incorporated with Noori seaweed, mayonnaise, sesame seeds and spring onion.

Gunkan (pronounced: ghoon-khahn) means war boat. A slightly different shape to nigiris, these are balls of rice with a topping held together with or without Noori.

Choice of toppings.

Nigiri means hand pressed sushi in Japanese. A typical portion of nigiri is two pieces, however you can mix or increase your portion size.
