Sheer yakh, meaning frozen milk or cold milk in Dari, is a traditional Afghan dessert that uses the same ingredients as the Indian kulfi ice cream but is prepared differently. but much better then any ice cream

Sheeryakh شیر یخ
This is an authentic hand made Afghani ice cream, which is one of the most popular desserts in Afghanistan. During the preparation process no automated machinery is used to make this ice cream, it is completely made by hand using traditional methods. The recipe for this ice cream is boiled/condensed milk, sugar and cardamom, topped with crumbled pistachios and almonds with a drizzle of creamy milk or clothed cream malaei or qiamaq (optional).
