The Vicini family originally moved to the area of Pescara, in southern Abruzzo, in the 1500s as wool merchants with agricultural holdings, and the cantina for wine operations was constructed in 1853. Grapes are picked by hand and are gently pressed, with fermentation occurring in steel vats and bottling without filtration.A generous and deep fruited Montepulciano with fleshy plum and blackberry fruit. Domaine Henry Fuchs is a 10 hectare organic estate in Ribeauvillé at the heart of Alsace. The soil is a combination of limestone and marl with the former contributing complex acidity to the wines and the latter providing power and drive. All grapes are hand harvested before gentle whole bunch pressing and fermentation with native yeasts. This is the Fuchs' opulent and refined Cremant d'Alsace aged for two years on the lees before disgorgement.
