Always a joy to drink from the off this juicy, deeply fruity red plays up all the fun of Malbec in its youth. With floral notes of violets and dark roses, then black cherry, blackberry, blueberry and damson. This is another little gem from Domaine Les Yeuses. At this brilliant level it is hard to find such a good and identifiable Syrah. This is good - there is nice lift and spice. The fruit is dark, with blackberry and damson notes, Yet not overly cooked nor too sweet - and there is just enough savour to let you know this has a serious side too.
