Our chocolate is made bean to bar with exquisite beans from the most special origins. Every bar has its own unique recipe and we roast the cacao beans, crack, winnow, grind, conch, age, temper and hand-wrap. ETHICAL - SUSTAINABLE - VEGAN

    This bar features delicate floral cacao from Southern India’s Anamalai Hills – a plantation on the edge of the jungle frequented daily by elephants and tigers (Anamalai is the Tamil word for elephant). On the palate it strikes with a cacophony of fruit: bursting with raspberry, apricot, guava and passionfruit – complemented by a silky smooth toasted peanut finish. A magestic and regal chocolate.

    This bar features award winning cacao from the Kokoa Kamili social cooperation in Tanzania. It’s a chocolate bursting with a fruit palate of burnt red berries and ripe mango, before developing into a deep, rich dairy-cream finish. If you didn’t know better, you’d swear we add milk.

    This bar features a distinctive cacao from the much heralded Öko-Caribe Fermentery – a social enterprise in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic. It’s an incredibly smooth and creamy chocolate, with an explosive sweetness of honey and Strawberries, and subtle overtures of caramel.

    This bar celebrates the rare and delicate Porcelana Blanca cacao from the Finca La Rioja estate in Cacahoatán, Mexico – which means “Place of Cacao”. Named after its distinctive light (porcelain) colour, it features noble genetics of ancient Criollos and the “Carmelo” Criollo. These pure white beans have been considered the ‘holy grail’ of cacaos since Mayan times. Visually striking with a beautiful light colour and intricate flavour profile: expect cream and cashew nuts dancing with fruits.

    This bar brings you very special beans grown on a native forest reserve in Colombia and featuring 100% criollo ancestorial genetics. Unique only to Hacienda Betulia’s terroir, these single variety criollos deliver a chocolate of great depth with notes apple, ripe cherry, plum and maple syrup, complemented by a smooth nutty cocoa finish.

Bean To Cup

Our luxury drinking chocolate is made from bean to beverage in small batches in our factory, with just two special ingredients: cacao beans and organic cane sugar. We make our chocolate from scratch and we age it for over a month before flaking.

  • Premium Hot Chocolate Flakes - Tanzania

    Bring to boil 150-250ml of any type of milk, slowly stir in 30g chocolate, until all the chocolate has melted into the milk to form a silky hot chocolate. We enjoy our hot chocolate like the Italians – short, thick and extremely rich (125ml of milk – 35g chocolate). Alternatively, the chocolate can also be mixed with boiling water to make an Aztec style drink.
