My Neighbours the Dumplings is a family run Chinese dumpling house and Sake bar. We specialise in hand made dumplings, rolled fresh everyday by our expert Dumpling Team. Although we are not strictly a Dim Sum restaurant, we follow the Dim Sum style of eating; lots of small dishes that are shared amongst the table.

All our dumplings are made fresh in house. You can order our Dim Sum dumplings to be steamed by us in the restaurant or if you prefer to steam them at home we offer this too, see our cook at home section below.

Three dumplings that are stuffed with young green jackfruit that has been slowly cooked in a fragrant coconut milk broth. Some liquid smoke and freshly cut coriander is added to the mix at the very end, and then wrapped in a wheat dough before the dumplings get steamed, and tossed in a Mala sauce (oil that has been infused with lots of warm spices like cinnamon, ginger, star anise and cloves). Spicy and aromatic, these dumplings are our new favourite! Garnished with spring onion£6.50Vegan

Smacked Cucumber Salad (ve)
Cucumbers smacked and marinated with ginger, coriander and chilli oil (vegan)£6.80Spinach & Fried Peanut Salad
A simple salad but with quite a lot going on. Using mature whole spinach which has been blanched and then rapidly cooled down in an ice bath, then any excess liquid squeezed out. The wilted spinach will soak up the dressing made of ginger, garlic, tamari, shallot oil and black vinegar, and then mixed with the fried peanuts that contrasts the earthy and soft spinach with a nutty flavour and crunchy texture. We're now offering a range of dumplings to cook at home so you can recreate that restaurant experience in the comfort of your own home; steaming baskets of dumplings on your table or juicy potstickers with that golden crispy bottom!
Prawn Har Gau - Steam at home (4 pcs)
Classic prawn Har Gau dumplings ready to pop into the steamer. Use the banana leaf provided to line the steamer, lightly brush with oil before putting the dumplings into the steamer. Ensure there is plenty of water in the pan and that it is boiling fast. Then place the steamer above the pan of water with the lid on. Cook these dumplings over a high heat for 3 minutes. After you remove from the heat, allow the steam to evaporate and the skins should become slightly translucent.£6.00
