We pride ourselves on being one of the rare sourdough purists. This means that our sourdough making process is 100% natural. We don't add any fresh yeast to quicken the fermentation process. Every loaf takes 3 days before it is ready for baking.

Our Heritage Wholemeal Sourdough loaf is made with Heritage British grain varieties, giving it a complex flavour with satisfying nutty sour notes. Using stone milled flour retains many minerals and nutrients lost in conventional milling. The loaf is made of flour, water and salt only. We are sourdough purists and we follow the authentic, lengthy fermentation. The loaf takes circa 3 days before it is ready for baking.
