Quality traditional English Chippy - Tuesday’s is no longer Gluten free day,our full menu is now available. A proud member of the National Federation of Fish Friers we serve only the finest food. Sustainable MSC certified freshly fried fish, sausages from our local butcher, Axons of Didsbury; award-winning handmade pies from Bowen of Chorley. Our steak pie has twice won the British pie awards. We fry in high quality sunflower oil which, unlike palm oil used by most other chippy’s, is very low in saturates and cholesterol and doesn’t lead to deforestation and the subsequent impact on indigenous communities and wildlife. Our peas, curry, gravy and chips are both vegetarian and gluten free. We have a dedicated fryer for our vegetarian options.

Award winning handmade cracked black pepper sausages from our famous local butcher Axons of Didsbury,Much larger than the sausages they sell in their shop, these are made especially for us. The best sausages you will ever get from a chippy!
Bowen began making their award winning pies in 1994 from a butcher’s shop. Today they are still individually made from quality ingredients according to secret family recipes, some of which are over 30 years old.
