To Be Held For A Long Time, unlike its name this beer should be drunk immediately. Strata is the focus of our two releases this week. A hop that can provide flavours from both ends of the spectrum, one, light strawberries and peach to a piney dank burst of flavours. We've combined this dynamic hop with old reliables, Citra and Nelson to round out those flavours into a super flavoursome DIPA.

Abbaye Notre Dame - Rochefort 10 11.3% (330ml)
Dominant impressions of latte coffee with powerful chocolate aromas in the nose. The alcohol esters are enveloped with hints of autumn wood, citrus zest (orange, lemon) and freshly baked biscuits. The initial taste is sweetly sinful. Beer and chocolate trapped into one single glass, a liquid milky draught with a backbone of bitter malt. The alcohol warms the throat and, in the finish, you will pick up traces of cloves, citrus, orange and mocha.

Biéres de Chimay - Chimey Premiére 7% (330ml)
Noted for its copper color and as the first beer brewed by the monks of Chimay in 1862.Topped with a creamy head, it gives off a light, fruity apricot aroma produced by the fermentation. The taste perceived in the mouth is a balance confirming the fruity nuances noticed in the fragrance. Its taste, which imparts a silky sensation to the tongue, is made refreshing by a light touch of bitterness. To the palate, the taster perceives a pleasant astringency which complements the flavor qualities

Herkenrode - Vesper 9% (330ml)
Herkenrode Vesper is one of only 23 official Belgian abbey beers and the winner of the Silver Medal at the 2018 Australian International Beer Awards. Vesper was created by Cistercian nuns at the Herkenrode monastery, which was founded in 1182. It’s a true and tough Belgian triple, With a 9% abv, a nice bitterness and a lightly cognac aftertaste. The beer is brewed using only 100% Saaz-Saaz hops, malted barley, water, yeast and herbs grown at the Herkenrode Abbey itself.

Huyghe - Delerium Tremens 8.5% (330ml)
The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry.

Limburgse - Kriekenbier 4% (330ml)
Winner of the Gold Medal at the 2018 World Beer Awards, Kriekenbier Wheat is a traditional Belgian cherry beer brewed since 1977 at our craft brewery in Opitter, Belgium. It combines a hint of cherry with our refined Limburgse Witte wheat beer. The cherry juice we use is from cherries grown in Haspengouw, Europe’s premier fruit-growing region. The cherries go directly from the field into our brewing kettle. There is no other beer quite like Kriekenbier Wheat.
